Adult CPR/AED
This course is designed for the lay responder. This class teaches the skills necessary to overcome reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies. Through “hands-on” training and video demonstrations, students will learn the standard protocols for administering proper CPR techniques and understand when and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). This class is approximately 2-3 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing. Certification: 2 Years ARC certification.
